Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English music producer and a singer. She is known for her unique music style, that mixes soul-soul vocals, pop hip-hop, and electropop, Jessie garnered much fame at a young age. In addition to her many awards, she has been nominated for the 2011 "Critics' Choice Brit Award" and BBC's Sound of 2011". Her career started at the age of 11 in 2002 when Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her in his musical Whistle Down the Wind. Then, she was a part of the 'National Youth Musical Theater and was a part of their production of The Late Sleepers which was first performed in 2002. Her fame was boosted in 2011, with her first studio album "Who You Are,' which was released on February 28. The album was an overwhelming commercial success, selling 105,000 copies in the UK as well as 34,000 copies in the US in just the first week after its debut. It was also the top 2 on the UK Albums Chart' and as number 11 on 'US Billboard 200.' Jessie is also well-known for her charitable work and involvement with charities like "Children in Need' and 'Comic Relief.'
