Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the horror and martial arts categories. Her style and approach are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies with a morbid fascination. The reviewer began her journey around the middle of 2009, after she was popular on their forums. (Under the name of her previous handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome team. Beginning in early 2015 she was on the channel as Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed to Movie Nights. She also currently runs two podcasts through her channel that both cover the Charmed franchise and both co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
