Anya Volz was born in Vermont but now resides at New York City. She's received acclaim from males across America for her wit, that is described by them as hilarious yet not too preachy. The family was in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and when they relocated to Victoria district in London. According to Taylor-Joy the relocation was difficult and she was unable to master English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she changed schools from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the productions that the school staged. She dropped out of the high school aged 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. As a child, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her dreams came true when she got a modeling opportunity from Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
