Arike Ogunbowale

Arike is an American professional basketball player. She plays for the Dallas Wings Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings were drafted with the fifth selection of the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was born the 2nd of March in 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26-year-old brother, and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years of age. Being the youngest of them of her siblings, her parents treated her to the very best treatment. Gregory, her father, was involved in the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale has a very engaged family. Her brother Dare played football, and Yolanda, her mother, played softball. The high schooler has made an appearance in 73 games and has accumulated 1,477 rebounds as well as 1,477 points throughout her playing career. Ogunbowale managed to take home the gold medal at the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championships and the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championships. In July of 2014 she was chosen to join the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale she is currently playing her first season at a collegiate level, was named her ACC All-Freshman Team.
