Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14. Aspen Ladd was trained in BJJ, kickboxing boxing and wrestling before making her debut as an amateur at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her competitors in the initial round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and defeated her via an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd won her next match against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to move up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to take down McGill in third round TKO. Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last bout for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another big win over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger in the very first round and received a bonus for her performance on the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she's ever had in any significant role. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. After a break of a few seconds after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
