Her most well-known role is playing Marina Cooper in the Guiding Light soap-opera and Marcy on Dawson's Creek. Her appearance was on two seasons of Showtime show Weeds with Mary Louise Parker. Her character was Judy Kramer, a Fox series from 2005 and Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. In the Guiding Light soap production, she appeared as Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination from the Soap Opera Digest magazine in 2003 as Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar was Cindy Thomas, the ABC Television show Women's Murder Club's main character from 2007 until the year 2008. Dollar was a part of the 2012 NBC series pilot Happy Valley which was not picked up.
